I’m Hillary and currently studying in University of Surrey. Last year, I’ve decided to skip the DSE and came to Surrey for the foundation course. At the beginning, all I felt is excitement and the enjoyment of having totally relaxed lifestyle. But from time to time, I’ve started to feel a bit lonely, since all of my HK friends are preparing for the exam except me. Luckily, the course is busy enough to drive me away from the bad feelings that I’ve got. It ended up pretty good, as I can successfully progressed to year 1. Most importantly, I can avoid the intense competition of getting into HK universities, and I am able to do the degree that I really wanted to do. As a whole, I highly recommend students like me should go to overseas in order to have a more satisfying university life.
