In 2013, I am lucky enough that my family can support me to have the opportunity to study overseas. Australia was my destination. At first, I did not know where Tasmania is. However, I am really glad that my parents sent me to this place. The nature environment is very attractive and it is something that Hong Kong doesn’t really have. Although when I first arrived in Tasmania I was really nervous, the teachers and friends helped me a lot to go through the hard times. After everything was settled, I can start to taste what it is like to study in a country outside of Hong Kong.
As my imagination, the life style here is not as stressful as in Hong Kong. What they focus here is the development for your life time instead of just studying for grades. Time flies. After spending two years in high school, I am currently studying Bachelor of Social Science at the University of Tasmania. As this university doesn’t have as many overseas students. It has a good mix of local students and overseas students. It makes it really easy to make friends with people from other countries.
