Hi new students, i am Calvin Wong and I have done the foundation course in Nottingham for 8 months. After that I passed the exam to enter into the university of Nottingham. Firstly I would like to share what I have learned in this 8 months. Before I join this foundation course, I have passed the ielts 5.5 so I still got to participate in languages course and at the end of the term, they will provide a language test also. Secondly I am a business student, actually I want to learn economics before thus I think you need to consider deeply to comprehend the subject you choose whether adapt yourself, but don’t worry about that, they will give you a chance to change your subject in the middle of term. Thirdly,
As I am a business student, I need to learn six subjects which are international economic, business management, business organisations, statistics, skills for study and language. Generally those subjects are about the basis knowledge of business and the learning skills. Finally is about the test, so they will separate the test as several part such as presentation, essay, report and group working however don’t worry too much coz as long as you work hard is not hard to pass it. Last but not least I like to share how was the life in Nottingham, this city is small compared with London, Birmingham and Liverpool but this city is a good place to study coz there has lot of university students. However this city doesn’t not include many entertainment places, the shopping mall is small but still has lot of club and karaoke.
