GCE A-Level
Bachelor of Psychology

When I decided to study in uk , my friend recommended me Access Academic Consultancy (AAC). My education consultant Mr.Joshua Tang helped me a lot throughout this year. He was very patient to answer all my questions and gave me useful information regarding the study lifestyle in uk in advanced. When i was in london, he kept taking the initiative to assist me and helped me sorting out a lot.

I was studying UKGCE in cats college london within one year. GCE-AL is supposed to be finished in two years so the course moved very fast. Lessons were very packed and quiz were frequent. but since I previously studied HKAL and so it was quite easy to pick up UKAL. Personally, GCE-AL is easier than HKAL. Exams are separated into six papers by topics so we can handle the materials easier.

Since I am very new to UK education system, it was quite nervous when I was asked to apply UCAS. Luckily, the teachers helped a lot with the choice of universities and personal statement, the process was very smooth and I got four offers from University of Exeter, University of Durham, University of York and Warwick University to study psychology.

Within this year, i have grown up a lot and become more mature. i had to take care of myself and sort out many living and study problems. And i was very pleased that i met good friends there to accompany and support me. My horizon was greatly widen. The school was full of international students and i learnt much of new culture. As the school is situated in London, a popular and important city, i had lots of new experience and learnt and saw many different things. I also took the chance to go to other cities and countries during term breaks and holidays which make my life more meaningful, fruitful and happier.

I am going to spend the coming three years in the University of York doing psychology and i hope i will have a new experience there.

Once again, many thanks to Joshua Tang in guiding me and provided me lots of good suggestion about my study path.
