Bachelor of Business (Accounting)
When I first came to Sydney, I felt nervous to face the new environment and afraid because I did not do well in both my HKDSE and the first year of Associate Degree.
UTS: Insearch gave me another opportunity to change my attitude in studying. The academic staffs (lecturers and tutors) are friendly and willing to answer every single question that you raised. I felt less pressure after the first semester finished.
After eight months of hard work I entered UTS, the study experience is completely different. I need to be self-disciplined and independent. Different from studying the Associate degree in Hong Kong, the study environment is much better, apart from knowing people from different nationality, the knowledge I have learnt in both UTS: Insearch and UTS is better than the previous associate degree. The major reason that I have considered to study in Australia because I don’t need to study history, science these kinds of irrelevant subjects in a business degree.
It is enjoyable to have my tertiary education in Australia. I would like to say thank you to Joshua Tang and AAC, and for those planning to study overseas, I would like to say, You have to believe in yourself, that’s the secret of success and of course work hard, play hard.
