Hello, this is Ivy. I am a former Trinity College student and now a year 1 science student from the University of Melbourne. My life has opened up a new page upon completion of S5 in Hong Kong, I proceed my study in Trinity College with the help of AAC. At first, I was devastated by the housing arrangement that the college provided until I met AAC which helped me to settle everything efficiently, special thanks to Joshua!
Trinity College was like a bridge connecting Melbourne and I, the curriculum was similar to the one in Hong Kong which enables me to catch up and adapt easily. Of course I can’t miss out the staff and students in Trinity, they are all very friendly and are enthusiastic to offer care and support as if they know the need of freshmen. I have met people from various cultural backgrounds and they have all helped me a lot along my journey in Melbourne. However, studying abroad is always a bittersweet experience. Melbourne is no doubt is great place to live and study but it did take me some time to get used to culture shock plus being independent and rely on no one but myself. Overall, I have enjoyed this 1 year in Melbourne and gratitude to AAC who guided me through and gave me advice from different perspectives!
