Hey I’m Jackson, I have been studying overseas for nearly 4 years. After finishing Form 3 in Hong Kong, I decided to carry on with my studies in Australia. I was a bit nervous when I made this decision, as I knew there would be a big change in my life. Joshua Tang of AAC helped me a lot, he provided me many advice and solved my problems accurately. Finally I decided to study in The Southport School, which is located in Gold Coast, Queensland Australia.
On the first day of school, I felt so scared and nervous because the study environment and atmosphere has a big difference compared to Hong Kong’s secondary school. Luckily I got used to this kind of teaching method in a short period of time. During the boarders life I made lots of friends from different countries including Korea, China, Japan, Russia and definitely Australia. They were very friendly and we enjoyed playing and spending time together during lunch hours. The teachers at The Southport School are very nice, they are willing to teach you and solve your difficulties patiently. Studying overseas is really good training for self-discipline, I have to learn how to take care of myself, balance my time of study, rest and entertainment. No doubt I’m happy and grateful to have a chance to study overseas and enjoy the Australian life.
