I am lucky as an overseas student who had a friend already studying in Melbourne before I arrived there. If you are not as lucky as me, do not worry. Adapting to a new environment is not so hard and you can always seek help from school, local people, as well as your consultant.
Studying in Melbourne is enjoyable. During my time in Melbourne, I did not encounter much difficulty. People there are really nice and helpful. There is no such a problem of racial discrimination. I made many friends from different countries and they are all friendly. I have also become more mature and independent since I could not rely on my parents anymore. I love to study here but students who are considering to study in Melbourne should be aware of its weather because it fluctuates within a day. At last, I would like to thank my consultant Joshua Tang who gives his continuous assistance and support to me both before and after I came to Melbourne. I am very grateful and happy to receive a scholarship from the University of Melbourne based on my results at the Trinity College Foundation Studies.
