It has been my pleasure of knowing Mr Joshua Tang as my education consultant since 2008. When I decided to study in Australia, a relative referred me to him.
Joshua is a very friendly and professional consultant who was always willing to give me a hand. He introduced a few high schools to me and explained all the advantages and disadvantages of studying at these schools.
After a deep discussion with my family and looking through all the collated information, I chose Seymour College, which was located in Adelaide, South Australia. Joshua helped me to send the application form to Seymour and handled all the trivial things. I actually did not need to worry about anything and just enjoyed every moment left in Hong Kong.
I started from Year 9 at Seymour College while I was only 15. Homesickness, loneliness and getting used to speaking in a second language were the most challenging parts that I had experienced. Although the boarding house provided meals for us, I became a lot more independent as I needed to do all the cleaning and laundry by myself. Since there were not too many international students at Seymour, I had a lot of chances to practice my English by communicating with the local girls. In a very short time, my English improved! All of the teachers, boarding house staff and schoolmates supported me so much, especially in Year 12. Seymour has excellent and enthusiastic teachers, which helped me build up my confidence in every subject. I definitely enjoyed my secondary school life at Seymour and I graduated Year 12 with an award in the subject, English as a Second Language. These few years of studying at Seymour was a marvellous and memorable experience in my life. I am eternally grateful to Joshua for recommending this college to me.
I am currently doing a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy Practice at La Trobe University. Joshua had suggested this university to me and I had no doubt of trusting his professional recommendation. Starting another four-year study in Melbourne, I am sure I will have a lot more exciting experiences in my journey of study.
