Studying oversea is a great opportunity for me to be independent. I have to cook for my meal, manage my study and even money. There are difference between Hong Kong and New Zealand. The living pace of Hong Kong is quicker than that of New Zealand which makes Hong Kong more pressure on study and work than New Zealand. On the other hand, New Zealand has wide view and fresh air near you which feel comfortable to you.
In UCIC, which is a international college of the university, all teachers, staffs and people were passion to each other. It was easy to find new friends. When in lectures, it was a small group classes that you can ask teachers question easily.
From university, it was hard to make new friends since they had met each other from year 1. Also, the classes become larger for around 200 people in a lecture which makes it hard to ask questions. However, University of Canterbury had good facilities and service for students to learn like library for engineers. Therefore, studying oversea is a great opportunity for me to be independent.
