University of South Australia

Bachelor of Accounting

When I decided to study for my Bachelor Degree in Australia, my Education Consultant Mr. Joshua Tang was extremely helpful and patient, for his expertise and assistance I am most appreciative. He provided me with full information regarding accommodation and the study lifestyle in Australia. During my studies he also provided extra and continuous follow up services with my parents and the University.

Whilst studying in Adelaide I participated in many new activities, such as joining the Exchange program, Mentorship program and the Leadership program, all offered at my University. Before commencing my studies in Adelaide, I had never expected I would gain such valuable experiences to add to my resume.

At university, I had attended two short term exchange programs in Denmark and Korea. As a result of these two exchange programs, The University of South Australia granted me a scholarship of A$3100 plus 2 transfer subject credits. I have been fortunate in that I have not only learnt from books, lectures and tutorials but also I have gained great knowledge by experiencing firsthand the different cultures and life styles of other countries. These experiences have opened my mind and given myself a completely different outlook on life in general..

Moreover, I was appointed as a PASS peer leader by the University of South Australia. In this leadership program, I worked as a student assistant which entailed tutoring other students in various subjects such as Accounting. This program not only improved my self-confidence, but it also provided a good tutoring payment of around A$23 per hour which was a helpful contribution to my living and university expenses. I am thankful that my university provided this special opportunity for me, it was a most valuable overseas study experience.

Furthermore, the University of South Australia had also recommended the Mentorship Program to me, this was another special experience. During this program I met my Mentor who works as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young. She taught me extra valuable information relating to accounting and gave me the opportunity to participate in a shadow job at Ernst & Young.

I have now completed my Bachelor Degree in Accounting from the University of South Australia. I am grateful to Joshua in that he provided me with a plan to complete my Degree in the quickest way possible, as I spent only two years in studying for my Degree. I would certainly highly recommend Joshua to all other students planning to study overseas.

Many thanks must go to my Education Consultant Joshua Tang in recommending and guiding me on the path to study at this university, it has changed my life considerably and opened up new experiences and challenges.
