My journey in Firbank Grammar is one of the most memorable times I had in life.

Growing up believing that I am a tough girl after joining activities like Outward Bound challenges, once again proved that I was wrong. Although it was not my first boarding experience, I ended up crying for a whole week due to homesick. All the tears were then wiped off because I have met many wonderful people who I know will be part of my life forever from the boarding community and day school. The boarding community is like my second family since it only consist around 50 girls from Asia and inter-state.

During Year 10-12, I have taken part in lots of activities; the Swimming Carnival, Sports day, GSV Soccer, Badminton, Inter-house activities like Netball, Softball etc. I was also a regular member in the Orchestra as a violinist.

Firbank offered a lot of activities that broaden our horizons, eg. the trip to Lao in Year 10 where we helped out in an orphanage, made me realize how blessed I am growing up in 1st world countries, this experience also paved my way towards the field in Health Science in the future.

I would like to thank Joshua Tang of AAC for his help during all these years who has been really helpful and was never fed up replying to the numerous questions I have made during midnight and the holidays.
