Studying in the UK has been one of the greatest experience in my life. I have recently finished the international foundation programme and met the progression to year 1 Media Arts in Royal Holloway University of London. I have to thank not only my parents for being supportive of my decision but also Joshua Tang from AAC. He’s helped me a lot before I made the decision of studying in the UK. He’s helped me to analyze my situation, provided suggestions and possible ways to achieve my goal.
The experience has also provided me a chance to meet people from different parts of the world and learn about their cultures through a variety of activities provided by the student union. Living with a roommate has also provided me a chance to learn and take other people in to consideration when making decisions. It also helps me to become more independent. Another exciting event was to witness Queen Elizabeth visiting our uni! Everyone was so pumped to get to see the queen and it was definitely one of the opportunity that you don’t encounter a lot in life! I am really looking forward to the coming academic year, I am sure it is going to be one of the best years of my life! For those who are planning to study in England, I want to say, believe in yourself and nothing is impossible!
