Life in Sussex
Having studied a year in Sussex, I find my life there fruitful and remarkable. To start with, the accommodation in Sussex provides me a tranquil place to rest and study. At first, I was anxious that I would not be able to adapt the new environment and live on my own. However, the perfect facilities of housing and the friendliness of my flat mates made me live a year on campus at ease. Moreover, Sussex’s library surely keeps a collection of academic books which helps a lot in my studies, with an advance IT system to make booking and borrowing books in a gigantic library easier. Furthermore, since I am a Media student, I am allowed to access Silverstone, the Media Studies Building. I have to say I am so elated and excited to have access to the newest technology, learning to use them is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. In short, the perfect facilities of the University provides me an efficient and effective life in Sussex.
Besides, I enjoy my leisure time in Brighton with my friends. At weekends, I usually play badminton with my friends in the Sports Centre on campus. Even more, chilling at Brighton Pier is one of my favorite activity as well! Not to mention the sunshine and the warm breeze when I’m relaxing at the Pier, but also the seafood there is gorgeous. I can’t find anything better than enjoying great food with your friends with a splendid environment as backdrop. For night life, we still have bustling all around, especially at weekends, having a nice drink and chat in bars and having parties is how we could join the locals and experience their culture. In short, I am already missing my life in Sussex, to work hard and play hard.
